Donated in 1887 by Stephen Salisbury III to supply a 44.9 acre green space for the students and citizens of Worcester, Institute Park is home to Institute Pond, three tennis courts, two monuments, a bandstand, and trails throughout the tranquil park grounds.

Founded in 1885, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is centrally located within Worcester’s Salisbury Cultural District. Offering many outdoor spaces on its expansive campus, as well historical buildings throughout. WPI offers over 50 undergraduate and graduate programs and is pioneer in project-based education.
